StubHub competitor Rukkus, which sells tickets to concerts and sports events, has released a virtual reality app that shows the view from any seat. The app, Seat360, is available for both iOS and Android, and works with Cardboard-compatible headsets.
The company told UploadVR that it’s generated $350,000 through the app thus far, and venues that have the Seat360 feature enabled on average are viewed for 40 percent longer while the number of screens per session is three times higher. Rukkus is  projecting that it could make a total of $1 million in revenue during the last half of May.
StubHub released its own virtual seat view app in April for Cardboard and Gear VR headsets.
